An Evening at Na-Ha

A Evening At Na-Ha

The second night of the ISS experiences, Stacie steps it up each year and surprises us with a bigger and better event. Na-Ha is an event compond in the jungle! The Jungle, and I mean the Jungle. We were bused out to the event, 45 minute drive from our resort.

When we arrived we were met by a group of Mayan tribe members, where we were offered appetizers and drinks. Bar height tables scattered about and then of course we HAD to take pictures with these amazing people in native clothing and paint.

After having some yummy appetizers, and of course Stacie's signature drinks. We then were called to line up and they took
away our glasses, and entered the jungle through these amazing gates. We walked down pathways, avoiding mandrake tree roots and bridges over cenote's (caves filled with water) that were lit up. Ever once in a while some one would scream from one of the fierce looking Mayans jumping out at us. IT WAS AMAZING!!

We then arrived at an ancient dwelling in the middle of the jungle grounds where we had a fabulous dinner. We were all assigned to a table with two speakers so we could talk and get their insight into our industry. You learn a lot when it's 6 attendees to 2 speakers. And of course Stacie's team designed the beautiful space.

We were joined by Shawn Rabideau and Christopher Confero
two top notch wedding coordinators
Menus by Gourmet Invitations
The signal to move outside.

Then we were summoned outside by the above Mayan using a conq to signal our departure to another area of Na-Ha. There we were treated to a Mayan fighting dance between good and evil, ahhmazing doesn't even cover it. Good did win in the end.

For any businesses out there who do off site team building and really want to treat your employees, this is IT! What an adventure!

Networking lunch NOW Jade Cancun

Our Networking Lunch

An ISS experience would not be complete with out a networking lunch. Back to the branding, check out this gorgeous menu from "Gourmet Invitations" (who was also the designer for all of the invitations, menus etc. for Preston Bailey's wedding)

What's great is great is how Stacie spreads the speakers through out the table so you can sit down and have great discussions with your peers and the professionals
Sonny Ganguly of Wedding Wire and Laurie Chapman of Wire Grass Weddings

Meeting new friends, Alexis Harsh of The Bridal Style and Marie Suchy of Posh Bridal Gown boutique,
both out of Minneapolis, they were so much fun. It's nice to get away from you stopping grounds and
surround yourself with peers from all over the United States and Mexico. We are free with our information
and we all learn from each other.

And of course Stacie has the designs for all of our daily events

And of course there is no forgetting the fabulous food. I cannot stress enough how
this ISS experience conference will help your business.

Inspire Smart Success Breakout Sessions

Morning Workshops

My morning started early just like everyone else, either breakfast in the buffet or an espresso and croissant in the coffee shop. I of course picked the espresso and almond croissant.
Signs were posted around the deck of the buffet and in the center gardens depending on which
class you were taking.

So my first class was with Eddie and Marilyn Martinez with Natural Impression Designs out of Miami
Florida. They are a great couple and talked to us about taking a chance and putting ourselves out there.
To say the least it was very informative and help me make some hard decisions.

Next up was Join the Mobile Revolution with Sonny Ganguly the CFO of Wedding Wire, every time I
take a class from Sonny I learn so much more. Sonny explains things in layman terms and show us all how the internet, youtube, twitter and going mobile is so important.

Communicate to get the right clients, Angela Profitt went over many ways to draw in the right clients.
I have a book full of notes.

So on to Design Intensive, with Christopher Confero, Diann Valentine, and Shawn Rabideu. It was interesting how each designer approached their design work. One used inspiration boards, another talked with their clients and showed prior events and then another would sketch out a design for the client.

her events. My blog is called "All in the Details" due to all the details that Stacie puts into her brand.

Please enjoy and take notes of all of her knowledge. Thank you Stacie for doing what you do!
