A Evening At Na-Ha
The second night of the ISS experiences, Stacie steps it up each year and surprises us with a bigger and better event. Na-Ha is an event compond in the jungle! The Jungle, and I mean the Jungle. We were bused out to the event, 45 minute drive from our resort.
When we arrived we were met by a group of Mayan tribe members, where we were offered appetizers and drinks. Bar height tables scattered about and then of course we HAD to take pictures with these amazing people in native clothing and paint.
After having some yummy appetizers, and of course Stacie's signature drinks. We then were called to line up and they took
away our glasses, and entered the jungle through these amazing gates. We walked down pathways, avoiding mandrake tree roots and bridges over cenote's (caves filled with water) that were lit up. Ever once in a while some one would scream from one of the fierce looking Mayans jumping out at us. IT WAS AMAZING!!

We then arrived at an ancient dwelling in the middle of the jungle grounds where we had a fabulous dinner. We were all assigned to a table with two speakers so we could talk and get their insight into our industry. You learn a lot when it's 6 attendees to 2 speakers. And of course Stacie's team designed the beautiful space.
We were joined by Shawn Rabideau and Christopher Confero two top notch wedding coordinators |

Then we were summoned outside by the above Mayan using a conq to signal our departure to another area of Na-Ha. There we were treated to a Mayan fighting dance between good and evil, ahhmazing doesn't even cover it. Good did win in the end.
