I'm completely off my editorial calendar here with this absolutely cool, wedding and honeymoon destination, especially for those of you who like the woods, and trying something out of the box.
So, I just got back from my 25th Wedding Anniversary and Birthday vacation last weekend. Catching up with home and a doctor's appointment that will put me down a bit for a few days, I was flipping through the television channels, and started watching a show on Animal Planet, not my everyday routine.
Why this particular show caught my eye I don't know, but it proceeded to inspire this blog. Treehouse Masters makes amazing treehouses for people all over the world. The episode highlighted their park called Treehouse Point, located in Issaquah, WA. Treehouse Point is known as a bed and breakfast with different styles of Treehouses scattered throughout a large forest owned by Pete and Judy Nelson.
Located 22 miles from Seattle on the Raging River, Treehouse Point is also a Wedding Venue, Bed and Breakfast and Musical venue destination. In the episode I watched they built a large treehouse in ancient Douglas Fir for an upcoming wedding, including a Crow's Nest 200 feet above the ground. This place is amazing, maybe just being on a trip to Alaska and the pure beauty of the Northwest has made a huge impression on me.
So following are some examples of the Nelson families treehouses at Treehouse Point,
